Annette practices as a solicitor in the areas of Family Law (Property Settlements), Criminal Law, Immigration Law, Administrative Law and Judicial Review, Contract Law and Defamation Law.

Annette has negotiated for her clients through stressful legal matters so that their preferred outcomes were reached without litigation.

Annette has experience in preparing submissions to the criminal court to obtain the lowest possible sentence for her clients who are found guilty. Annette also assists clients to meet character criteria for migration applications, and prepares citizenship applications.

Importantly, Annette knows how important it is that her clients feel listened to, and that they are regularly updated about the progress of their case.

Aside from her Bachelor of Laws (Distinction) and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, Annette has studied philosophy, ethics, sociology, and psychology. In May 2022, she will commence studying the Vietnamese language.

Her motivation is to always deliver the best possible outcome for the client. As such, she is well-versed in the resolution of legal matters by way of cooperative and alternative dispute resolution processes.

Annette's diligent, professional and empathetic manner has made her an incredibly valuable part of the CARES team.
