In most other countries like Vietnam, there are no registration requirements for migration agents.

Whereas a Migration Agent in Australia must:

  • be registered with the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA);
  • have demonstrated knowledge of Australian Immigration Law and its regulations;
  • be of good character;
  • attend continuing professional development programs; and
  • abide by the MARA strict Code of Conduct
