Tina began practising law at the Northern Community Legal Service in Salisbury. At the Legal Service Tina’s passion for social justice flourished and the combination of her legal knowledge and great interpersonal skills meant her clients received an exemplary legal service.
Within this role Tina practised in a number of areas including family, criminal, civil and child support. Tina has also developed and presented legal education seminars to members of the local community. Together with staff from the Family Relationship Centre in Adelaide, Tina presented Child Focused Information Sessions to separated parents as part of the Family Law mediation process.
Working with the community at the grass roots level for a number of years gives Tina the ability to really understand what clients need in order to resolve their legal issue: accurate advice, exemplary level of client service presented in an easy to understand language whilst being mindful of keeping legal costs down.
Tina’s approach to family law matters is practical with the aim of keeping disputes away from expensive litigation.
Tina graduated from the Adelaide University Law School in 2004 with Honours. Before practising law, she worked for five years in various roles within the public service including taxation and child protection. Within this time she also completed financial counselling studies and provided an outreach financial counselling service to a domestic violence service.
When Tina is not buried in obtaining the best outcomes for her clients she is chasing after her two pugs. Tina adores spending time with her family and friends. She also has a keen interest in health and fitness.
Tina is from Italian and British heritage. Her grandparents migrated to Australia so their families could have a better life and be provided with the opportunities to excel. Tina not only practises law to assist others with their legal issues but to honour the legacy of her grandfather, Giuseppe Bruno, a great man who sacrificed so much for his family.
